Amity University: Two Day Annual Techno-cultural fest AmiSpark 2020 Concludes


The Two Day Annual Techno-cultural fest of Amity University Chhattisgarh Amispark-2020 concluded today. In the final day various competitions among the students of the university and other institutions of the state took place. Students have shown their hidden talent and tried to manifest their creative and cultural aspects of their lives. Variety of events like singing, dancing, fashion show, architecture exhibitions, Kavyavani-the Poetry Competition, “Capture Your Campus”-photographic competition, quiz competition titled “Tickle Your Brain”, Youth Parliament, Mystery Room, Funk from Junk(Best out of waste), Magic O Mic, Futsal, Robo Race, Robo Kabaddi, Halloween Makeup, Treasure Hunt, Intercampus Singing, Tikk-Tokk, Abhivyakti-Nukkad Natak, The Road Kill, Quizdome, Kavyavaani (Hindi hai maathe ki bindi), Drone Race, Popsicle Mania, Intercampus Solo Dance, War of Bands, PUB-G, Gully Cricket etc., where in students participated with utmost joy. In the evening a spectacular DJ night was organized in which the students enjoyed with joining feet together and dancing in the tunes.

In the inaugural session, a colourful cultural show by specially abled children of Kopalvani- which is a children welfare organisation- was presented. These specially abled children’s performance could generate patriotic and humanistic fervour among the audience present. In the evening a fashion show was organized where the Runa Sharma Attri, Bobby Makhija were the judges and Dr.Sushma Sharma, Principal, Lalit Kala Academy, Raipur judged in the dance completion. In fashion under designer dress category “Team Fusion” and “Magnificent” stood first and second respectively and in group dance, “Angikara” group from B.Tech, and “G-Katha” of ASCO and “No Shame” from AIB jointly bagged the second prize. Vice- Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Pandey hoped that this cultural fest would encourage the future cultural outlook to be embellished and would help in the growth of creativity of the students of Amity as well as other institutions of the state. Students of the university thoroughly enjoyed the final day and appreciated the university authority for organizing such a wonderful event in which they got a chance to perform and exhibit their skills. Senior officials of the university and other faculty members were present during the event.
